On the North side of Mount Pleasant, a beautiful creek runs off the Wando River, known as Darrell Creek. This estuary provides all kinds of opportunities for those that live in and around Darrell Creek to engage in boating, kayaking, SUP's, crabbing, fishing, nature walks and the observance of plentiful wildlife. With close proximity to Mount Pleasant, the Isle of Palms and Sullivans Island, the Darrell Creek area is still only a short drive to downtown Charleston and to the Charleston International Airport as well.
There are a range of housing types available in and around Darrell Creek. Primarily single family homes, the ages of these residences dates back to the 80's and runs through to the new homes being built in Ashton Woods and throughout the area proximate to Darrell Creek.
